Today is the day!

After some selfie taking lessons from my youngest last night (so that my blog won’t be cringy), I spent the morning repacking and weighing my pack for my flight this afternoon. After months of research and trial and error I have landed on the following things to bring.

Daily medication, Pain control meds, Sunblock and chapstick, Guide book, Two pair bike shorts,One pair pants, One tank top,Two bras,Two short sleeve shirts, One long sleeve sun shirt, One thin zip jacket, 3pair undies,pajama shorts, Packa (poncho/rain cover), Silk sleeping bag liner, Towel, 2 small wash cloths, 4 pair socks, Tevas, hiking shoes, hiking poles,Sun hat, Laundry detergent sheets , 3in1 Body/face wash, Face moisturizer, Deodorant, Vaseline, Tooth brush and paste, Floss, First aid kit, Sewing kit, Safety pins, Caribiners, Nail clippers, Earphones,Nail file, Head lamp, Small bag for evenings, Passport/money holder, Ear plugs-lots, Phone/fitbit Chargers, Plug converter, Gloves , Xtra pole tips, Scallop shell, Xtra watch band, Reflector belt

Total 16.5 lbs! Amazing how little one really needs for more than a month of travel!

Today I fly to Madrid on an overnight flight, then connect to Pamplona. The adventure begins!!
